Venco Mark II Pugmills
Venco pugmills are well designed dependable single auger pugmills. Like all professional pugmills, the Venco is suitable for blending, reworking reclaim (which is properly prepared), and de-airing. Most potters would agree that further wedging is not necessary. Mixing raw clay and water is not practical with a Venco or any other pugmill.
Venco produces a variety of sizes with different output capabilities. Every model includes a shredder screen, vacuum pump, vacuum gauge, hopper safety screen, hinge style plunger with a mahogany plate, and a cast aluminum horizontally split 2 piece barrel. The reference chart indicates the critical dimensions of the nozzle, hopper, horse power, weight, etc. Other features include a totally enclosed fan cooled motor, direct coupled gear box, double helix auger, stainless steel shaft, and high capacity vacuum pump. The Venco are designed to offer years of trouble free use.
A sturdy table is required and we recommend that the pugmill be permanently fasten to the table.
