With this extruder, there are no heavy bars or levers to injure head or feet, no hydraulic pumps or air compressors with their inherent hazards. Instead, it is entirely hand driven. Turning the large handle drives a compound rack-and-pinion gear box which dramatically reduces the force needed to make an extrusion. No more than thirty pounds of force at the handle is needed to make an average extrusion! The barrel and die simply lift out as a unit (no tools required) so that cleaning, changing dies and loading can be done while you sit or stand comfortably at your work bench. Wall mounted. The WagonWheel Handle and compound gear drive make it possible for anyone to make large extrusions without the help of the local moose.. The WagonWheel Handle is held in place by a quick release pin. It is removed with a pull (again, no tools) so the handle can be quickly set aside whenever it is in the way.

Includes 3 Dies An exceptionally handy, rugged, extruder for making small runs of a particular form. We're sure you'll find may uses for this handy tool in your studio or classroom. Extruder gun comes with 3 dies. All the dies are made of 1/8" aluminum of a hardness that will not bend but is easy to cut and file, and that will last indefinitely. We use a carpenters coping saw to cut out the design and an inexpensive kit of needle files to finish the shape and rub down with some fine emery cloth and your die is ready. If your extruded shapes are small, you may want to cut several shapes on one die and close out those not being used with a scrap of plastic or sheet metal., increase the versatility of your clay gun with the 8 piece die set.
