VITEC produces plastic fuel tanks that represent the leading edge in technology.  Plastic fuel tanks provide important advantages over steel tanks in terms of efficiency and safety.

Plastic tanks are 20 to 30 percent lighter than steel and can be produced in a variety of shapes to fit into available space, maximizing tank capacity and increasing vehicle range.  In addition, the impact resistance of a plastic fuel tank is far superior to it's steel counterpart.

Multi-layer technology brings added performance to plastic tanks by incorporating a vapor barrier to control hydrocarbon losses and meet stringent evaporative emissions standards.
