There is a growing shortage of landfill space in this country. Our landfills are reaching their capacities; and most plastics that do end up in the landfill are NOT bio-degradable, meaning they will never just "go away".
But what can be done with the millions of plastic containers discarded every year? How about recycling them into a maintenance free, beautiful, long lasting deck or picnic table?

Our outdoor furniture and lumber products use HDPE (high density polyethylene, commonly known as #2 plastic), one of the most popular types of discarded plastic.
Examples of this are milk & water jugs, bleach containers, etc. Instead of going to the landfill, these plastics can be recycled into the products you see here. Our recycled plastic lumber products are available in a wide variety of sizes, colors and grades.
Hundreds of thousands of plastics collected in recycling facilities are used to make recycled plastic lumber.
Once sorted, the plastics are separated into clear and colored plastics, then bundled. Each bundle pictured contains tens of thousands of crushed plastic containers, ready to be reground into recycled plastic lumber.
Once the baled plastics are ground into flakes, UV and colorant are added and the plastic is re-molded into the finished product you see here. These finished boards, shown in Weathered Wood, now have a new life as a picnic table, bench, dock or deck! The boards pictured at left represent thousands of milk jugs that would have otherwise been landfilled.
