We offer recycling equipment sales, machinery appraisals, plant-liquidations and surplus industrial asset management. We own, recondition and guarantee much of the equipment we sell.
Our History
In 1952 Jerry Mandel, founded Jerry Mandel Machinery, leaving his family's scrap processing business to focus on the needs of scrap dealers for quality used equipment. In 1971 his son-in-law, Alan Ross, joined Jerry and together they helped small scrap collectors become larger, integrated processors. After Jerry's retirement in 1979, Alan continued his service to the industry forming Alan Ross Machinery. Today Alan Ross, his son Rustin Ross and a team of 11 dedicated professionals continue three generations of service to the recycling industries.

We are members of the MDNA (Machinery Dealers National Association), AMEA (Association of Machinery and Equipment Appriasers) and ISRI (Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries).
