Specializing in plastic film machinery engineering and manufacturing, United Precision Engineering (UPE) is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, long known for its quality machine tooling industries. We are located just 40 minutes from downtown and the Greater Cincinnati International Airport.

We are staffed by a multitalented group of engineering and supervisory people, each with decades of experience in designing and building plastic film manufacturing equipment.

Let us be your one source for top quality film making machinery.

We manufacture mono-layer dies from 1" diameter to 120" diameter, mounted on
an oscillating block as standard. Rotating and fixed
blocks are also available.

Our bottom-fed spiral
mandrel single-layer dies
produce quality films from
a wide range of polymers.

Our polymer flow simulation software allows us to conduct testing of die performance with customer specified resins and resin blends and mimic a variety of operating conditions.

For special applications, we offer our proprietary“Easy Flow” spiral technology that delivers a low stress, flat
sheet of blown film at high production rates.

United Precison Engineering also manufactures multi-layer dies for your
specific blown film manufacturing needs

We manufacture co-extrusion multi-layer dies from 2" diameter to 108" diameter die opening. The dies can be built in either the form of nested spiral manifold up to five (5) layers or in the stacked module form up
to nine (9) layers.

We offer oscillating co-extrusion
dies from two (2) layers to
five (5) layers—and die sizes
from 2" diameter to 60" diameter
die size.

Our polymer flow simulation software allows us to conduct testing of the die and its individual layers—for its performance with our customers' specified resins and resin blends and mimicking a variety of operating conditions. All of our dies thus designed have optimized shear rates and uniform flow distribution.

For special applications we offer our proprietary “Easy Flow” spiral technology that delivers a low stress, flat sheet of blown film at high production rates.
