Cresswood has been a world leader in the engineering and manufacturing of scrap grinders for the wood industry for over a decade. Through years of engineering research and development, and by listening and responding to the needs of our customers, we have introduced or redefined numerous improvements to grinding operations. These include PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), RamTrack guide systems for hopper fed machines, and the introduction of the most aggressive cutterhead geometry in the industry. Cresswood was the world pioneer in the development of the horizontal end feed grinder.
Cresswood Recycling Systems is a division of Dun-Rite Tool & Machine Co, tool & die makers by trade. Serving a customer base of individual clients throughout the Mid-West, Dun-Rite has designed, manufactured, rebuilt and maintained process equipment for production environments since 1963. Cresswood was begun in the late 1970's to design and market scrap processing equipment for the wood industry. All of Cresswood's machines and cutterheads have been built with Dun-Rite Tool & Machine's 50,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Northern Illinois. This concentration of engineering, manufacturing and quality control in one location gives our customers "one source responsibility".
Through the years, Cresswood has earned a reputation for customer service that is unmatched in the industry. The sale of a grinder is just the beginning of our relationship with our customers; our commitment to them never ends.
We offer a full service team complete with on-site engineering, a parts department with an extensive on-hand inventory, and a staff of full time service technicians. In the event of a problem, we are committed to having you back on line within 24-48 hours regardless of the reason. Nearly all repair parts are available from Cresswood or from your local industrial supply house.
Our Grinders are built with quality and dependability for years of service and satisfaction. Our machines are built to be able to grind 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
