Molded Products Group - An Overview
Rapid Plastics molding and extrusion division, or Molded Products Group, is primarily focused in the horticultural industry. The division has been able to combine the precision and quality of both products and service with other competitive advantages.
Rapids direct and daily involvement in and knowledge of the plastic resin industry affords the Molded Products Group a leg up on processors which are less diverse. This is exemplified not only by lower materials cost but also by a wider choice of materials, in general, to suit particular performance and pricing criteria.
The Molded Products Group is also vertically integrated to combine scrap reprocessing, sheet extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding. This and other competitive strengths noted above are sure to pave the way for continued growth.
