Viton®o-ring cord extrusions are now manufactured to precision tolerances by M-Cor Inc. Since 1987 M-Cor Inc. has manufactured and supplied the chemical sealing industry with high performance encapsulated o-rings made with Genuine Viton®o-ring cord. Our experience in a highly competitive global marketplace enabled us to recognize the need for a quality, competitively priced and flexible manufacturer of "precision" Viton®o-ring cord, tubing, square and custom extrusions to the worldwide marketplace.
Committed to achieving this goal, M-Cor Inc. management challenged our engineering department to develop systems to manufacture competitively priced "precision" Viton® o-ring cord, tubing and profiles in the United States, which could be distributed globally. Utilizing the expertise of industry leaders within the polymer, chemical and mechanical engineering industries, our engineering project manager developed a plan for a cost-efficient manufacturing process. Implementing this plan required a commitment for a considerable investment in research, design and capital equipment which was accomplished over several years.
In keeping with our quality commitment, M-Cor. Inc. management decided to offer "precision" extruded fluoroelastomers made with Genuine Viton® by DuPont-Dow Elastomers. In 2003, with the permission of DuPont Dow Elastomers, M-Cor Inc. was able to expand the scope of its Genuine Viton® License to include "precision" extruded o-ring cord, tubing and profiles made with Genuine Viton® only.

Using the latest technological innovations in the field, our Viton® o-ring cord, tubing and profile extrusions are held to within +/- .0025 of an inch with continuous lengths over 250 feet or greater! Additionally, each batch is supplied with certified documentation and lot numbers traceable to the original polymer manufacturer (DuPont Dow) which ensures product intregrity. Our Viton® extrusions are certified to meet or exceed the properties of AMS 3216, AMS D-2000, AMS 7280, AMS 7276, MIL-R 83248. See our data sheets for complete specifications.
