Frisby Extrusion Services Ltd has over 20 years experience in the manufacture and supply of new and refurbished wear parts for all major makes of twin-screw and single-screw extruders.
We specialise in the supply of screw elements, barrels, liners and dies for the food, aqua feed and pet food industries.
FES is a preferred supplier to major food manufacturers; human, pet and fish, around the world.
Through close working relationships with our customers we have been able to answer their requirements. Flexibility enables us to design and manufacture standard and bespoke components for unique applications. For example, we can provide Wenger profile screws to fit a Clextral machine or visa versa, or indeed any other combination.

RODUCTS
Frisby Extrusion Services Ltd prides itself in being able to offer the customer exactly what they want. We can make parts to the exact same design and specification as the Original Equipment manufacturer, or we make modified parts from a different metallurgy to specific design to meet customers desired requirements.
Twin Screw Machines
FES make consumables for all major twin screw extruders. These pictures show new parts for Wenger TX machines, Clextral BC machines and Buhler machines. We also make parts for APV, W&P and others.
Single Screw Machines
We manufacture parts for all single screw Wenger machines, from X-20 up to and including X-235. Many of these parts are held in stock. We also make Extru-Tech and other single screw machine parts.
Refurbishment
FES are able to refurbish most single screw machine screws and barrels. The pictures here show Wenger and Sprout matador parts. We are also able to refurbish the larger twin screw machines. These include Wenger TX-138 and TX-168 barrels and Clextral BC160 screws. These parts are usually rebuilt with Stellite 6 or 12.
Special Development
Cone Liner for TX-138 and TX168 machine
As well as being able to refurbish the cone liners for Wenger TX-138 and TX-168 machines, we can modify a worn cone head to accept liners. the cost to replace the worn liner is significantly less than that of new or refurbished heads.
Convert mono block worn Clextral modules to accept 1 piece liners.
Cutter Blades that can last up ten times longer
FES manufacture their own extruder cutter blades. As the picture shows these blades can be supplied as standard parts that can be re-ground several times or coated such that they can last up to tens times longer than a standard part.
Stanley Blade Knife Holders.
As well as standard knives, FES also manufacture a Stanley Blade knife holder. After the initial outlay on the holder, the customer need not buy another holder for many years. The blade can be changed as required and can be sourced from either the local DIY store or from FES for pennies. A further option is to have the stanley blade coated to last even longer.
REFURBISHED USED EXTRUDERS
At Frisby Extrusion Services Ltd we also refurbish and rebuild extruders. We can rebuild your existing machine or source, rebuild and supply a second hand machine to specific requirements.
