In todays competitive global marketplace, manufacturers are under constant pressure to manage sharper. With implementation of total quality programs, just-in-time logistics, enhanced data sharing and instantaneous communications technologies, customers have now become partners who expect a seamless response to every requirement. And, time has become the critical factor. Turnaround time. Uptime. Time to market. All of which is why plastic injection molders of every description with needs ranging from basic molds to complex tooling weighing hundreds of thousands of pounds turn to A-1 Tool Corporation. Because at A-1, our approach to moldmaking fast-forwards our customers operations four ways:
We quote faster
We build tooling quicker
We produce tooling that delivers more uptime

A-1 leverages technology with experience to cut design and engineering lead times. Chances are good that at one time or another weve built a mold something like the one you need now.
This gives us a jump start towards finding your optimal solution plus insights that, occasionally, may even enable us to suggest small part changes to improve mold efficiency!
A-1 mold designers and engineers use 3-D modeling software to make it easier to visualize finished parts. 3-D modeling also improves coordination with CNC programmers making programming faster, with less chance for error. At the same time, 3-D modeling facilitates customer communications.
Advanced routines such as moldflow, mold-cool and warp analysis are available while Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) technology is used for reverse engineering and for qualifying key dimensions.
