In the first purging compound upgrade since 1948, Alan Plastics has developed the Multi-Purge 1600 in pelletized and dust free form. Multi-Purge was developed as a cost-effective universal purge material used in place of either natural resin or more expensive chemical purge compounds. Multi-Purge has been shown effective for cleaning extrusion and injection molding equipment and is particularly effective in reducing clean-out time during color changes.

Alan Plastics also produces and manufactures APC, a fully polymerized thermoplastic compound in granular form. It has exceptional color absorption properties combined with a high melt viscosity. APC has proven to be an excellent cleaning agent for injection molding machines and extrusion machines. With APC, all types of thermoplastic resins of any color, can be purged from machines much quicker and more economically than with other conventional methods.
