Artisan was founded in 1934 with the idea of fully integrating engineering and manufacturing into a comprehensive resource for the process industry. Our integrated teams of engineers and manufacturing professionals have been solving processing problems ever since.
During that time, we have accumulated a depth of experience in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries that is unmatched in the process-engineering field. We have developed hundreds of custom solutions for separating heat-sensitive and viscous materials and liquids that foam, foul or contain solids. We have designed and manufactured custom equipment for thin-film evaporation, extraction, distillation, stripping and drying. Weve worked with most of the large chemical companies plus dozens of smaller manufacturers; and we have installations in more than 50 countries around the world.
In 1952, JET-VAC® began to design and manufacture ejectors. This ejector technology provides an inexpensive source of process vacuum and chilling. Driven by steam or other motive liquids, our JET-VAC ejectors offer the lowest capital and operating costs of any process vacuum source; and theyre the most reliable because they have no moving parts.
JET-VAC ejectors have been used for evaporation, stripping, distillation, filtration, drying and degassing processes in the chemical processing, power generation, and food industries
