JBLIndustries Is a machine repair and maintenance company

Our objective is to maintain prominence and high quality in the industrial machine repair and maintenance sector by continually developing new technology and implementing state of the art equipment. We will provide prompt service, competitive technical expertise, application support and new developments for industrial machinery.
Supplying only the highest quality replacement parts, and our “Above and Beyond” service, we will continue to work hard with our customers and suppliers to provide the public and private entities with top quality equipment for all industries we serve.
We take a lot of pride in the products and services we carry, and strive to make every workplace a safe and profitable one. Together with our clients and suppliers, we will change the way industrial machinery is built, repaired and maintained

JBL Industries was incorporated in Canada in 1993 with a goal to revolutionise the industrial machinery industry. Already carrying more than 30 years experience in machine maintenance, repair, and custom building, JBL Industries began operating with the assumption that not all equipment is made the same. Although a certain piece of equipment may carry the same brand name, as well as a matching model number as another, the difference in the two machines comes from the individuals running them.

Our certified technicians spend an enormous amount of time talking with supervisors, foremen and operators to get a complete understanding of where, how, and in what conditions the equipment is implemented. Once these variables are determined, our knowledge in fields such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics allows us to repair and subsequently maintain the equipment on a determined schedule.

As the years accumulated, and our customer base expanded, the demand for industrial maintenance increased. Realising that as our client’s production was increasing, unexpected downtime became the key variable to avoid. With that in mind, in 1995 JBL Industries began to implement preventative maintenance programs with the assistance of our customer’s key production managers. To avoid downtime during production hours, we developed a 24 - hour, 7 - day week schedule to meet the demands of our customers. Our mobile teams are scheduled days, even weeks in advance to assist, or lead shut down repairs, and perform preventative maintenance on the desired equipment. With preventative maintenance programs implemented, unexpected shutdowns and halts in production are avoided, saving time and money, and allowing our clients to establish production schedules of their own without having to allocate time for breakdowns.

Being a fully automated machine shop, JBL Industries can custom make parts for all types of machinery, no matter the brand name or the size of the equipment. By fabricating and machining our own parts, we are able to minimise the cost of fabrication, avoid middle - men, and subsequently pass the savings on to our customers. Again, working with our customers’ engineers and operators, an inspection of the machine is performed to determine the nature of the problem. Once the failed part is found, our international headquarters is contacted, and the part is shipped and received at our customer’s plant within 48 hours. Should the part not be in stock, or JBL is unable to manufacture it, our world - wide suppliers are available 24 hours exclusively to service JBL Industries’ requirements.

In 2001, JBL Industries began to diversify into the filtration sector. Dealing mainly with Pulp & Paper mills and mines across Canada and the United States, we offer a wide variety of filtration solutions for equipment such as disc filters, drum filters, rotary vacuum filters, gravity strainers and belt filters. We have expert technicians that are available to do on site inspections and audits of equipment, and supply a report of suggestions and recommendations to significantly improve the performance of equipment.

As well as the above mentioned industries, we have acquired the distribution rights to Micronics Inc, and Trent Filtration Inc, manufacturers of filtration equipment destined for industries such as water and waste water treatment plants, chemical processing, plating, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, hydro electricity, automotive and many more. The impressive list of products includes, but is not limited to Filter press, filter press plates and cloths, sludge press, de - watering belts, pressure filters, rotary press filters and much more.

Many customers take advantage of our “rebuilding and refurbishing service”. Equipment that has stood the test of time and has began to breakdown regularly, or machinery that has started to corrode or entire hydraulics and electrical systems are failing can be transported to our primary plant in Quebec. At this location we are equipped to completely dismantle, inspect, clean, and rebuild machinery or filtration equipment. Once completed, the machinery is tested and inspected a second time to ensure that all components are functioning correctly. JBL Industries prepares all transport arrangements, customs documents (if applicable), and the equipment arrives on site, in a timely manner, and looking and functioning like a new piece of equipment. Guarantees on workmanship and on replacement parts are available depending on the severity of the original condition of the equipment, as well as operating conditions.
Being an Original Equipment Manufacturer, JBL Industries can custom manufacture machinery to suit the needs of our clients. Our design team gets involved with engineers to discuss how the equipment will be used, and where it will be placed to maximise floor space and minimise production resources. As OEM, our machinery is built for implementation in situations where a new or existing piece of equipment would require costly modifications. Upon completion of assembly, JBL Industries prepares all transport requirements, and supplies a team of technicians to install the equipment in the required location. The involvement we require of our clients is their input in the design. Once the design is completed, JBL Industries assumes responsibility for overall project completion based on the agreed specifications. The equipment is delivered and installed, ready for operation.

In 2002, company growth was phenomenal. Our client base was expanding rapidly, and we felt that a quality control plan needed to be implemented to ensure the quality of parts, and service was maintained as reputable as it had become. JBL Industries has begun to implement the ISO 9000-2001 quality standards program to accentuate the high standards already enforced internally. Following the ISO standards program will allow us to control any non-conformity that may occur in large-scale production. It will ensure that non-conformities are traced back to the source of the error, and take corrective measures to prevent a relapse.

In May of 2002, with the effort that is always put in from all employees and management, along with the positive feedback received from our clients, we are very proud to announce that JBL Industries was awarded the Accolades Small & Medium Business of the Year award. The award recognizes local companies who excel in their field by offering outstanding products and services.
