Carolina Color will bore you to tears if you let us. We have been a leading color concentrates supplier for nearly a half-century. And, like some but certainly not all colorant suppliers, we are also ISO 9001:2000 certified. The primary difference between CCC and other suppliers is that we actually use ISO as a business tool, not just as a marketing tag line.
We operate facilities in Salisbury, NC and Delaware, OH, that can produce in excess of 25MM pounds annually. We dont actually make that much, but our customers like to know we can in a pinch. Our excess capacity translates into game-saving catches for them from time to time, which makes everyone happy.
We have more than 600 thrilled customers in five countries worldwide. The common denominator across our customer/fan base is that they demand quality, velocity and innovation in their colorant supply partner. They also expect a conscientious, respectful and honest approach to doing business, which is great, because we like the same in our customers.
Our purchasing philosophy is unique in an overly crowded competitive set. First, we only buy producer prime, certified resin. Second, we surround ourselves with the finest suppliers of pigments, dyes and additives in the world. Third, we pay our bills on time and take discounts. How? We are a 3A1 Dun & Bradstreet-rated company that is debt-free and has one of the strongest balance sheets in the industry. So bankers hate us but our suppliers love us which means steady supply in tumultuous markets.
And the best thing about us is: We make great color! By using the finest raw materials in the industry, maintaining tight incoming QC specifications, manufacturing products on state-of-the-art equipment and adhering strictly to specifications, we ensure our products perform consistently from lot to lot. Predictability can be boring in marriages, but not in plastics manufacturing.
We look forward to boring you to tears for the next half-century.
