DMT is a leading supplier of machinery and plants for the production of bi-axially stretched thermoplastic films. Stretching process can produce all different kinds of film properties. During the stretching process, film is being stretched in longitudinal as well as in transverse direction by mechanical force.

This stretching process modifies the material's molecular structure and the thickness of the film. In opposite to blown-film systems, DMT provides film stretching lines where the film is stretched by a system of heated rolls running at different speed and a chain track system with diverging clips.
