Since our founding in 1957 by John Stojka, Fast Heat has been dedicated to two things: our customers and innovation. We are constantly developing new technologies and seeking new ways to meet our clients' changing needs in a rapidly evolving, global marketplace. With manufacturing facilities and offices in France, England and Singapore, and distributors worldwide, we are able to serve our customers everywhere they do business.
Fast Heat began as a designer and manufacturer of electric heating elements and sensors. As our clients' businesses grew and changed, we grew and changed with them, providing ever more sophisticated temperature management solutions to such diverse industries as HVAC, food service, plastic processing and packaging. We were the first to develop a new heating element capable of reaching temperatures of over 1,000°. We developed more uniform heat profiles and pioneered integrated temperature controls for the hot runner injection molding market that allowed our customers to better manage more complex processes and materials. Now, we're adapting to better serve our customers again. We're building on our history of innovation to deliver efficiencies you never imagined possible in places you've only dreamed of.
We call it Temperature Intelligence. It's about taking the principles of temperature management that are so critical to the manufacturing and engineering industries we've served for decades, and applying them to other areas where they can be utilized to optimize critical environments and improve performance. Applications such as supply chain management to chemical refineries. Using existing and new methods RFID and Internet-based wireless sensing networks, for example in unexpected ways, Fast Heat helps customers gain more control over, and access to, valuable temperature data in the most efficient ways possible. This is what drives our product development and process innovation.
