The Saporiti company has been constructing machinery tools since 1946 and in those early years manufacture included horizontal and vertical lathes and milling machines. With the automation explosion in the early 70's, Saporiti went beyond traditional machinery to include and eventually specialize in Computer Numeric Control end user application machinery which was specifically tailored to meet the customers requirements and thus after many inquiries started to manufacture machinery to satisfy the plastics sector.....with today's complex designs of single and twin screws it was necessary keep these machines as user friendly as possible as to avoid complex and time consuming tool setups and concentrate on a more dedicated and flexible control system.
The production and programming of single and twin screws for plasticising is made much easier through the use of customized software. Screws can be cylindrical and or conical with constant or variable pitches and cores of cylindrical, conical, polygonal and or eccentric forms. Saporiti machines feature continuously variable pitch and tool inspection while in threading cycles, the control also can be directly connected to any PC or Network system. Available models include machines with different types of milling heads, whether it be conventional or with one or more CNC controlled axes for the use of end mills and or disk cutters.
In production is the threading machine "PLUS 400", a medium duty threader, perfect for small to medium injection and extrusion screws.
SAPORITI offers a Boring and Lapping CNC Machine for the complete Machining of Single and Twin Screw Barrels, suitable for machining non-rotating work pieces, and with the ability to drill, bore and lap in a single setup.
SAPORITI also manufacture Vertical and Twin-spindle lathes for the production of Short pieces up to 600 mm in Diameter and also special purpose CNC lathes to suit Customers requirements.
