We offer single and twin, conical or parallel, jacketed or vented barrels and feed housings. Feed liners, plain or grooved, can be manufactured to suit new or existing barrels and feed housings.

Barrels can be refurbished by honing oversize and re-nitriding or manufacturing and fitting a full length sleeve with wear resistant material. We can also offer partial re-sleeve using bi-metallic or nitrided material.

Screws & Barrels

Whether you need single flighted, multi-start, barrier, twin parallel or conical screws, Nouvelle Engineering are ready to respond. Screws can be manufactured in a wide range of materials, from EN19 with flame hardened flights through a whole range of more exotic toolsteel materials with various coatings and heat treatments.

We also specialise in the manufacture 'in-house' of twin parallel and conical screws using a high level of technical skill and knowledge to produce such precision components. New to our product range is the manufacture of twin segmental screws.

For ease of budgeting we also offer a full refurbishment programme. We can travel to site and measure components, advise on wear rate and increase your production by taking damaged or worn screws and flights and rebuilding them to full working tolerance. We use a range of finishes including Stellite and Colmonoy.

Tie Bars

We give our customers economical solutions and wherever cost effective broken components can be repaired. We offer a one year guarantee on all our repairs during normal machine usage.

In house facilities for Tie Bars 45mm - 250mm diameter up to 6 metres length.

New components can also be manufactured from your broken/damaged samples.
