The most complete version of the “Turning Center” of extrusion screws for die casting machines is able to perform turning, interpolation milling of the key seats, machining of single screws with variable pitch (both cylindrical and tapered), and of twin screws with various geometries.
Specifically, the milling unit for twin screws is equipped with a “tilting” head providing a continuous angular movement interpolating with the C, Z and X axes.
