Founded in 1946, AFCO Industries, Inc. made a home for its molding and allied products plant in Alexandria when the division began operation in 1952. The site started with 45,000 square feet on 11.3 acres and now has 204,000 square feet.

Holland, Michigan

AFCO's wall products division was constructed in 1969 as the first step in the planned company growth. Products include Makerboard and various patterns of Melamine and Decorative Panels. Secondary products include specialty wood products such as Cedar Closet Lining, Canfor Paneling and Stack-A-Shelf Closet Systems.

Olive Branch, Mississippi

AFCO's metal and plastics division was purchased in 1974. A variety of custom plastic extrusions for residential, automotive, commercial, and recreational applications are produced. Millwork products include thresholds, door and window weatherstrips, and sills. Specialty items include water stops, control joints, and steel roll formed products for the commercial concrete construction industry.
