I have developed a unique (In the UK at least) in-situ bi-metallic barrel honing/refurbishment service, of special interest to plastics recyclers. Working in conjunction with most of the major screw & barrel manufacturers/refurbishers in the UK we can offer what is effectively a full refurb' with less than 24 hours downtime (This is dependant on having a spare screw for the machine)
I'm currently developing an internal grinding attachment which will allow over-vent and feed port grinding.
I can also hone light wear from Nitrided barrels in situ.
