Good Under Pressure
Polyethylene pipe can hold up to 260 PSI and can be tested at twice its pressure rating as an added safety feature. Resistant to most all chemicals, polyethylene has a variety of uses. Because of its durability, it can be used for permanent as well as temporary uses.
100% Quality
No pipe leaves the yard without passing the test. A number of tests are taken to confirm its durability including a verification of wall thickness, a quick burst test and a melt index test to make sure the finished product meets all ASTM, API and NSF specifications. The pipe is made up of high quality certified PE 3408 high density polyethylene resin or a PE 2406 medium density polyethylene, commonly known as yellow gas pipe. The NSF approval means the black pipe can be used for drinking water. Great for extreme temperatures, polyethylene pipe expands and contracts without bursting, withstanding temperatures as low as 40 degrees below zero.
Special Orders
Special orders are a common requirement for companies working under extreme conditions. Co-Ex Pipe company can create a polyethylene pipe wall thickness to meet unique pipe pressure specifications. Increasing wall thickness or cutting unusual lengths does not mean a longer turn-around time in manufacturing.
