In our R+D laboratory we continuously develop new screw designs in order to meet and excel our customers processing demands. extruserve hands you the opportunity to utilize the latest single- and twin screw technology for your processing needs
Our experienced engineers taylor the screws with the aid of custom computer programs. The geometry of your retrofit screws will be designed according to your processing demands and will be made to exact specifications.

Our twin screws are made from either highly wear resistant nitriding steel or a special stainless steel for chemically aggressive formulations. The screw surface is nitrided with a low COF molybdenum coating on the outer diameter.
Barrels
A new housing for your valuable twins
extruserve barrels meet the tightest tolerances and help maintaining your production rates at max.
We only use high quality nitriding steel for our twin screw barrels and machine it on state of the art manufacturing equipment. The barrels are then nitrided, using our proven two step heat treating process, to provide an extra thick, wear resistant layer.
From the first gun-drilling operation to the final polishing procedure - we know how!
As an option, extruserve offers you to retrofit your machine with apc ® - air power cooling. This advanced barrel cooling system provides the same cooling efficiency as liquid cooled barrels, but does not require any maintenance at all. Temperature set-points can be controlled faster and easier due to it's positive control characteristics.
Gearbox Replacements
Sometimes even the best don't last...
High-quality, long-lasting reduction gears and distributor drives form part of Cincinnati's twin-screw extruders. It is only after some 50,000 operating hours when wear on the bearings, gear wheels and shafts becomes considerable.
Protect yourself against avoidable costs, reduce scrap and downtimes caused by gearbox failure!
The Gearbox Replacement Program was set up by extruserve to avoid such costs by reacting in due time. The idea behind the program is to benefit the customer by replacing a worn but still functioning gearbox with a completely rebuilt one.
A simple procedure with minimal downtime!
Simply submit your gearbox replacement order and you will get an appropriate rebuilt gearbox within the term agreed. Dismantling of the old and installation of the new gearbox can be done by the customer or by an extruserve technician. In each case, the old gearbox is to be returned to our factory.
