AEG Computer Engineering Analysis
Problem Solving Today's Engineering Challenges
Developing products and processes that meet aggressive performance and cost targets requires unified simulation tools that not only produce realistic results, but also enable collaboration throughout the enterprise.
To meet this requirement, AEG offers the the new protocol “Fully-Coupled FEA”
for Unified Finite Element Analysis, multiphysics solutions for insight into challenging cross-disciplinary problems, and AEG for managing simulation data, processes, and intellectual property.

Fully-Coupled FEA
The AEG protocol enables engineers to use a common model for simulating a variety of in-service conditions at the component and system level including static deflection, noise and vibration, thermal cycling, manufacturing, assembly, and end-of-life analysis.

The AEG capability includes:
• CAE for modeling, meshing, visualization, and process automation
• CAE for static and dynamic, linear and nonlinear, implicit analysis
• CAE for dynamic and quasi-static explicit analysis

Multiphysics
As computing power has increased, the ability to simulate fully-coupled multiphysics problems has become more practical. FEA has significant built-in multiphysics simulation capabilities, including structural-thermal, structural-acoustic, piezoelectric, and others. It also supports open standards code coupling, which allows to use current CFD software coupled with Abaqus to perform Fluid-Structure Interaction analysis, and offers a Eulerian-Lagrangian analysis capability for the analysis of fluids and other materials undergoing large deformation.

Simulation Lifecycle Management
AEG delivers solutions for Simulation Lifecycle Management, . This new capability does more than simply manage simulation data and applications—it allows us to organize and manage intellectual property created before, during, and after the product development process. AEG protocol addresses the collective needs of the most demanding analysis expert as well as those of the product designer requiring validated simulation methods to drive rapid design decisions.
