Introduction - History - Our Team

We are an innovative, nationally as well as internationally orientated company and we are best known for our individuality and flexibility. Our developments base on long-year experience in the wire- and cable industries

Our mission is to satisfy customers, continually improve quality, ensure positive growth, take responsibility for technological leadership in process engineering, design, manufacturing, implementation and service for our global customers.

Since we began business operation, the company has set standards in optimizing existing designs of stranding and extrusion processes not only for the cable industry, but also for very specialized applications for other industries.

We are specialised in the following fields:

wire ropes

cable

glass fibre

Founded in 1996 with a staff of 10 people, we could expand in the last few years and we also could enlarge our product range substantially. Today we are engineering and mounting with about 90 best trained specialists on a production area of about 7000 m2.

We engineer all types of Take-up's and Pay-off's for cable, paper and plastics industries --- Pay-off's for loose tubes for glass fibre industries --- Capstans disc type, belt type and caterpillars --- Dancer and Accumulator Systems for steel, copper and loose tubes --- Binding Heads Single Binding Head, Cross Binding Head and Kevlar Binding Head. To learn more about our standard production programme visit our products section!

Additionally, we are working together with our customers to develop innovations concerning their specific requirements.

Special features
The range of screw types offered includes designsfor the production of cables from typical thermoplastics such as PE, HDPE, PP,TPU, PA, PVC, Sioplas, Silan, FRNC- materials such as Megolon and special types for high output applications.

The screws are nitrided or for grooved-bush extruders feature coated flights of the feed section or entire processing unit, depending on the requirements. A special powder coating alloy with outstanding tenacity and wear-resistance was developed in-house for the coating of screw flights. Included in the broad range of screws avialable for Dunst extruders are types from Hastelloy for the processing of fluoro polymers and other corrosive thermoplastics.

Development
High-grade thermoplastics require top quality processing equipment. Our teams of specialists are constantly engaged in the development of new screw configurations capable of coping with the numerous novel raw materials which come on the market. A kit system is used for the efficient testing of of new developments. The ideal geometry is found by variation of the flight depths, compression ratios and gap widths of the barrier, shear and mixing sections of the screw. Optimisation of the processing performance is carried out under real production conditions and the optimised geometry is then transposed to other machine sizes by computer-assisted upscaling and downscaling.

The gears are designed to enable the screw to be removed towards the rear of the extruder against the direction of the extrusion. This option makes screw removable possible without moving downstream equipment. Innovative manufacturing techniques and sophisticated logistics make possible delivery times down at the absolut minimum. Included in the service for our customers is the inhouse optimisation of raw material formulations in the laboratories.
