We offer a truly extensive range from 16mm to 400mm diameter and up to 8m in length, whether you need single flight, multi-start parallel or a set of conical twins we are ready to respond. Materials used in our own manufacturing facilities are of the best quality available. Standard steels for nitriding include EN41 and H13 supplied to the exact specification you require. Nitrided Barrels
We hold stocks of ready bored and honed barrels for immediate manufacture significantly reducing lead times. Sizes start at 18mm ø bore. Nitriding is conducted for the maximum time possible to create the thickest case depth.
Twin Parallel Barrels
Twin Parallel Barrels CAD/CAM design ensures optimum build quality, finished to demanding tolerances upon state of the art CNC machinery and in-house honing machines, keeping costs down in the process.

HF800: THE ALLROUNDER
Wherever both abrasion and corrosion occur, or wherever doubt exists. Containing high levels of vanadium and chrome carbides, delivering 55 Rockwell at high temperatures, deep into the screw. Using the latest possible powder metallurgy steels to ensure a tough, hard, dense and non-porous surface. IDEAL for high percentage glass filled materials processed at high temperatures or with corrosive flame retardants and additives. Unique to the UK, this screw has been very well received wherever used. Ask for a testimonial reference!
HF600: ANTIABRASION
Abrasion - the most common cause of wear. Our high technology vanadium loaded particle metallurgy steel delivers excellent wear resistance and imparts toughness at high temperatures, thereby out-lasting nitrided screws by up to 10 times. Ideal also for high torque moulding of powders and ceramics.
HF400: ANTICORROSION (Armoloy Coating)
New generation super anti-corrosion coating for high corrosion applications.
A 72RC coatings with a low co-efficient of friction, for 1-10 micro deposit which is applied at finished tolerances and is guaranteed not to chip, flake, crack or peel.
