4", 6" and 8" Models
This type of extruder is typically used when major, high-volume production is required. Capacities range from 10 to 2,000 pounds per hour with 10 to 100 HP drive depending on materials. (Bonnot Extruder sizes are identified by auger diameter.)

How Bonnot custom machinery provides continuous catalyst production without loss of quality, stability or character.
Feeder and extruder, both with automatic controls, work in tandem to assure continuous pelletizing in varied configurations as small as 1/16" diameter. Batch may go direct from mixer to feeder where consistency is maintained by continuous screw rotation.
EXTRUDER
Handles all types of catalytic materials including high aluminas, kaolin carriers, gels and molecular sieves. Worm and barrel are water cooled. Configuration and size of pellets are controlled by die change. Capacities are from 10 to 2,000 pounds per hour.
FEEDER
Two rotating screws of continuous or variable speed move compound to vertical feed chute. Automatic level control prevents back up and bridging.

The Bonnot Custom Mastics Extruder
CUSTOMIZED FOR PRESSURES UP TO 1,500 PSI...35 H.P.
This newly designed unit has been developed to handle the high performance demand of most mastics, butyl, silicone rubbers, caulking materials, special adhesives, epoxies and other highly viscous materials where rigid tolerances and high temperatures are required.
It provides the power and pressure to extrude difficult stiff, hard-to-handle compounds for the extrusion of strips, beads, sheets or slugs. Customized to your product, it can improve quality and dramatically increase productivity.
State-Of-The-Art Efficiency, Control and Performance
MATCHED PERFORMANCE DUAL DRIVE
Independent feeder drive operates in tandem with a separate machine drive to provide precise speed control at elevated pressures and temperatures. Matching the feed speed to the extrusion rate reduces air entrapment.
SCREEN CHANGER (optional)
Screen out tramp material that could clog dies and impair proper extruding. Screen position can be changed without interrupting production.
OPTIONS FOR CUSTOM APPLICATIONS
Simplicity of design and modular construction make customizing easy and efficient. All Bonnot extruders can be fitted with special options, including interchangeable die plates to give you a wide variety of shapes, sizes and temperature control. Special wearing alloys can be provided where abrasive materials are being processed. dies can be expanded to fit desired widths. Optional heating/cooling of the extrusion screw is also available.
