The following experience has provided the background of capabilities that qualifies Mr. Haffly to direct the operations of the Field Services Division. Over the years, he has become proficient in every position that he is now responsible for. It is of great significance that Mr. Haffly has never in all his years, had a liability claim against his efforts or the people he has trained. He adheres to OSHA requirements.
Mr. Haffly has 20 years experience in machine tool maintenance and installation, with 15 of these years spent as a rigger, millwright/mechanic, and technician and 9 years as a laser technician. Management positions with two of the largest Rigging and Millwright operations in Dallas/Fort Worth have provided him the background necessary to successfully execute bid and proposal efforts as well as the day to day operational duties associated with schedule, budget, personnel and equipment issues.
Heavy Equipment Operation
Proficient in the operation of: various sizes of boom cranes and overhead cranes, all types of forklifts, dozers, backhoes, and loaders.
Rigging
Experienced in the loading or offloading of machines or equipment from commercial carriers by use of overhead rigging or picking from underneath. Installation or removing machines or components by use of overhead rigging, carrying from underneath or skating.
Mechanic
Experienced in the maintenance of machine tools of all sizes, a large variety of general plant equipment, quarry crushers, and conveyors.
Millwright
Experienced in foundation inspections and layout of machines and components, floor grade inspections, set up and layouts of machine pads, levelers or fixators. Proper installation of machine bases and components, leveling and alignment of machines according to factory specifications.
Technician
Experienced in electrical connections and disconnects of existing machines. Match marking of electrical and hydraulic disconnects during removal of machines or components. Troubleshooting problems of machines mechanically, electrically and control features.
Laser Technician
Experienced in the use of laser equipment, as opposed to mechanical devices or optics, to ensure level, straightness, flatness, parallelism, and perpendicularity of geometries of machines. Also, the use of lasers to determine bore centers, heights, and rotary axis calibrations as well as the checking and adjustment of linear positioning of axes. Accomplished the first laser alignment of tools being installed in a semiconductor lab, anywhere, for Texas Instruments.
Fixture Design
Designed datum line fixtures, tool alignment fixture bases, and laser alignment fixtures for tools.
Layout Design
Experienced in total machine layout design.
