From humble beginnings with just one machine, the company has grown to include over 30 blow molding machines. This phenomenal growth required a move from rented quarters into Scandia's own building in 1981. Since then, the the plant has expanded four times.
With strong engineering backgrounds in innovative blow molding machinery design, it was only natural for Scandia to build a reputation as a highly technical blow molder. At Scandia, the journey from initial need or concept, through the design stage, through tooling and into production is undertaken with zeal! We thrive on challenge.
Early in its growth, the engineers at Scandia realized that quality was an often overlooked element in the blow molded plastics industry. In response, Scandia joined early pioneers in real-time quality systems, implementing in-line leak testing, periodic sampling, new softwares and SPC.
Today, Scandia continues to enjoy a stellar reputation in engineering services, on time deliveries and superior quality.
